Caroline Munro - Maniac

Caroline Munro - Maniac signed DVD cover

"There's no way you can possess someone forever. Even in a photograph, there's no way."

I obtained this signature in person at Autographica 13. Now onto the promised Caroline Munro description. She was an absolute delight, When she saw my Maniac DVD cover she asked me my opinion on it, I told her I loved it (the truth) and we got talking about the movie's star Joe Spinell, and we both agreed what such a wonderful underrated performer he was and she told me a few stories about him! (they worked together on three films in total). I had trouble with my camera and the lighting and she was amazingly patient while I tried to get it sorted.

The trailer (been warned it's not for the young uns)

Katy Manning - Eskimo Nell

Katy Manning - Eskimo Nell signed DVD cover

While most people who visited Katy Manning probably got something Doctor Who related, I had to get 70s British softcore comedy Eskimo Nell signed. She loved seeing this and even told me about filming scenes with Christopher Biggins who played her brother in the film and how they couldn't get through one particular take and how if they see each other now they always repeat one line from the film to each other.
Katy Manning and Me

some goodness from the film...

Joan Collins - Dynasty Season One

Joan Collins - Dynasty Season One signed DVD cover

I didn't originally plan to get Joan Collins autograph, but her assistant/husband notified me of a great deal and then I couldn't resist. She was pretty much just what I expected, not massively chatty or the like but not awful. She was one of two that didn't allow posed photos.

Caroline Munro - Star Crash

Caroline Munro - Star Crash signed 10x8

"So you see into the future. All these years you never told me. Think of all the trouble I might have avoided."

The only signed 10x8 I got while I was at the event(s), this was on the second time I met Caroline Munro. She was such a lovely person and I'll go into it more when it comes to the signed Maniac DVD cover.
Me and the wonderful Caroline Munro

Emily Watson

Emily Watson - signed 10x8

Emily Watson is a great actress, making her movie debut with an astonishing performance in Breaking the Waves (1996). She's gone on to appear in Angela's Ashes, Punch-Drunk Love, The Proposition and Synecdoche, New York.

Deep Roy - Corpse Bride

Deep Roy - Corpse Bride signed 10x8

He's appeared in a lot of stuff, he'll be best recognized for playing all of the Oompa Lumpa's in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Other films include Big Fish (he's worked with Tim Burton four times so far), the underrated Freaked, Return to Oz and was Droopy McCool in Return of the Jedi.

Rebecca Romijn

Rebecca Romijn - signed 8x6

Wow it didn't take me long to get another Rebecca Romijn autograph did it??? This is the lesser of the two photos in my opinion (she's pictured here with ex-husband John Stamos)

Eugene Levy - The Man

Eugene Levy - The Man signed 12x8

While I haven't seen the film yet, I've heard terrible things about it, but to me I saw buying this as getting a Eugene Levy autograph at a very cheap price. To most people Eugene Levy will be associated with been Jim's dad in the American Pie movies (he evens appears in the direct to DVD sequels) but to me he's always gonna be a cast member from Canadian sketch show SCTV and his work with Christopher Guest on the films Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show and a Mighty Wind (he also wrote them with Guest).

On a SCTV note, he's the third former SCTV cast member I have the autograph of (John Candy and Joe Flaherty are the other two), none of them are on SCTV items though.

Doug Jones

Doug Jones - signed 10x8

Doug Jones as also worked on Pan's Labyrinth, Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer (as The Silver Surfer), Tank Girl and Adaptation and played one of the Gentlemen in one of the best Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes ever (no easy task).
