Shaun Williamson - Eastenders
Shaun Williamson played Barry Evans for 10 years (94-04).
This book plans to be part of an ongoing project which will hopefully include the additions of more Eastenders autographs and my early plan is to turn it into some sort of interesting autograph scrapbook...

As well as getting both Mayo and Kermode on my ticket print out, I got them individually on an index card I'd brought with me, which both where very kind to sign without hesitation. Mayo I should point out constantly shared his popcorn out with the audience, which was a cool gesture (which reminds me I'm going to do a list of the nicest and worst celebrities I have ever met very soon).
Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode

Radio 5 came to Hull for Octoberfest in 2009, and I got tickets for one of the shows, Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode's show which was held on the 23rd of October at the VUE Cinema, I got a print out of the ticket I had to show and managed to get Mayo and Kermode, plus also all their special guests, this is everyone...
- Simon Mayo
- Mark Kermode
- musician and composer Nitin Sawhney
- comedian and singer Mitch Benn
- Five Live's John Murray
- former Olympic Bronze medal winning swimmer Steve Parry
- former rugby league player Craig Murdoch - who played for both my local teams Hull FC and Hull KR, as well as Wigan
- BBC Radio Humberside sports editor Dave Burns.

The Dirty Dozen

I met George Kennedy first, very friendly and very respectable, you could tell he was a touch on the deaf side though. Ernest Borgnine was brilliant, into his 90s now and still full of life.
It's still hard to believe I met two Hollywood legends like this within like half an hour of each other. These two where also two of the most popular guests at the event.
I just need to get a frame for this because I know exactly where this will be getting hung up in my house!

Ian McNeice - Top Secret!

Ian McNeice was Saturday's free autograph and was such an awesome person, when he saw my poster he let out the greatest belly laugh ever and said to me "my entire career is flashing in front of me" and he asked if it was okay that he took a photo of me with the poster. He was also kind enough to pose with the poster for my camera. Obtained at Collectormania Midlands 3.

I'll be putting up a picture of it framed on the wall in my upstairs hallway at a later date...

Titanic: Deluxe Collector's Edition

Signed by...
I went to Jonathan Hyde first who was cool to meet, he asked me if I was getting David Warner to sign the DVD aswell and he made a joke that he should sign his signature really massive so David Warner wouldn't have anyway to sign.
I think I went straight to David Warner after Jonathan Hyde, I remember telling him what Jonathan Hyde said and it made him laugh and asked if it was alright he signed his signature under Jonathan Hyde so he could let the drama queen have top billing!
I originally intended to get a Titanic laserdisc signed, which I'd brought from Ebay but it didn't arrive until I was already in Birmingham, so this DVD was my second choice.
Me and Jonathan Hyde
""The press knows the size of Titanic. Now I want them to marvel at her speed. We must give them something new to print! This maiden voyage of Titanic must make headlines!"
"But this ship can't sink!"
Me and David Warner
"It's interesting. The young lady slipped so suddenly and you still had time to remove your jacket and your shoes."
- David Warner
- Jonathan Hyde

The trailer for you...
Madeline Smith - Theatre of Blood

I met Madeline Smith at Collectormania Midlands 3. Madeline Smith came across as very posh in the best possible way, she seem to take a little bit of a shine to me (not in a fancy way I mean the other way), maybe it was my politeness (or the fact I brought her something none Bond to get signed, who knows???

The trailer to the classic film!
Lenora Crichlow - Sugar Rush Series One
Ke Huy Quan - The Goonies

"Hey I've got a great idea you guys! Slick shoes!"
"Pinchers of Peril... saved by my Pinchers of Peril!"
"Data's okay! Data's quite tired of falling and Data's tired of skeletons!"
Awesome! I've finally met one of the Goonies, this was at Collectormania Midlands 3, this was an incredibly rare signing opportunity (apparently Showmasters who ran the event have been trying to get him for years). Quan was a great guy and the way he looks and sounds showed he hadn't changed a damn bit in nearly 25 years.
The trailer for the classic!
and because I want to spoil you: The best of Data!
George Lazenby - On Her Majesty's Secret Service

"This never happened to the other fella!"
I can finally say I met a James Bond - On Her Majesty's Secret Service is in my top 10 favourite Bond films (possibly top 5). George Lazenby was fairly cool with a strong handshake. He didn't allow photos sadly. I met him at Collectormania Midlands 3.
Caroline Munro - Maniac

"There's no way you can possess someone forever. Even in a photograph, there's no way."
I obtained this signature in person at Autographica 13. Now onto the promised Caroline Munro description. She was an absolute delight, When she saw my Maniac DVD cover she asked me my opinion on it, I told her I loved it (the truth) and we got talking about the movie's star Joe Spinell, and we both agreed what such a wonderful underrated performer he was and she told me a few stories about him! (they worked together on three films in total). I had trouble with my camera and the lighting and she was amazingly patient while I tried to get it sorted.
The trailer (been warned it's not for the young uns)
Katy Manning - Eskimo Nell

While most people who visited Katy Manning probably got something Doctor Who related, I had to get 70s British softcore comedy Eskimo Nell signed. She loved seeing this and even told me about filming scenes with Christopher Biggins who played her brother in the film and how they couldn't get through one particular take and how if they see each other now they always repeat one line from the film to each other.

some goodness from the film...
